he library houses many hundreds of books and several complete series of scientific journals.
The oldest books date from the 1930s, whereas journals go as far back as 1887.
The library has no supporting staff and its holdings are open for use by laboratory members only. Its books, however, are listed in the central catalogue of the University of Athens libraries OPAC.
By early 1914, the collection of journals has reached a stable state after price hikes and funding restrictions eliminated all new journal acquisitions.
