      BVEC94    J. M. Brown, T. D. Varberg, K. M. Evenson, and A. L. Cooksy, Astrophys. J. 428, L37 (1994). These authors have measured the fine-structure intervals for the 3P ground term of N II to be 1461.13190(61) GHz (48.73811 cm-1) for the J=0 to J=1 transition and 2459.38006(37) GHz (82.03609 cm-1) for the J=1 to J=2 transition.

S95       J. Spyromilio, Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. 277, L59 (1995). The N II 3P23P1 ground-term interval derived from the wavelength measurements for the two 3P–1D2 transitions in this reference is 82.033(2) cm-1, not 82.059 cm-1 as given by the author. The corrected value is in excellent agreement with the more accurate value of 82.03609 cm-1 [BVEC94].
