TRAVEL INFORMATION
By air:
Participants should fly to
Vienna International Airport
and then take a bus to Bratislava Busbahnhof.
(A guide from QSCP-7 will be available at Vienna International Airport on
10th September.)
The timetable for the service is as follows:-
Departures from Vienna International Airport to Bratislava Busbahnhof
08:25, 11:55, 13:25, 15:25, 17:25, 18:55, 19:55, 22:25
Departures from Bratislava Busbahnhof to Vienna International Airport
07:00, 8:00, 9:00, 11:00, 15:00, 16:00, 20:00
The cost is 7.26 euro (one way) and 13.08 euro (round trip).

information.
Latest Travel Information:
Bus transportation from Bratislava to Casta will be arranged
for participants. The departure is scheduled from 4:00p.m from the car park
at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Comenius University.
The bus to Casta will also stop at the Bratislava bus-station at about 4:30p.m. to
pick up participants arriving by bus from Vienna International airport
on the bus leaving the airport at 3:25p.m.
Transport from bus station to the Faculty will be arranged at
1:15p.m. and 2:45p.m. connecting with the buses from Vienna airport.
How to reach Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Comenius University:
From the bus station-
Turning left after leaving bus station through main entrance, after
cca 50m there is a bus stop. Take the bus No. 70
(direction Novy most) to its terminal stop (7minutes).
Here you must change to
trams No. 1, 12(direction Dubravka-Pri krizi) or 4 (direction Karlova
Ves).
Get out on the stop "Botanicka zahrada" (fourth stop). The path from
here
to Faculty will be marked by arrows QSCP-VII.
From the main railway station:
Take the tram No. 1 (stop in front of the station) and approx. after
20 minutes get out on the stop
"Botanicka zahrada". From this stop follow arrows.
From the train station Bratislava-Petrzalka (most trains from Vienna
end here)
Take the bus No. 90 (stop at the front of the train station) direction
Novy most (the terminal stop). From here see instructions for bus
station.

To reach Faculty you need one basic ticket valid for 30 min. This ticket
costs
14 Slovak crowns (about 40 cents) and you can obtain it from slot machines
on main stops.
On Bus station and main railway station there are special kiosks which sell public
transportation tickets. Also many newspaper stands sell these tickets.
You can also use taxi (the fare from all above mentioned locations to the
Faculty
of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Mlynska Dolina (Fakulta matematiky,
fyziky a informatiky, Mlynska dolina) should not exceed 350Sk (8 Eur))
