Second European Workshop
Quantum Systems in
Chemistry & Physics

Jesus College, Oxford, England
April, 1997

The second QSCP workshop was held in Jesus College situated in the very heart of the ancient University City of Oxford. Jesus College was founded in 1571 during the reign of Elizabeth I and is the only Oxford College to date from that period. Indeed, Queen Elizabeth herself granted timbers which were used in the construction of the College and was given the title Foundress. The College provided a tranquil location for the workshop within a stone's throw of some of the most notable buildings of the University, including Wren's Sheldonian Theatre, the Radcliffe Camera and the Bodleian Library, in an area which boast some of the finest architecture in England. The proceedings of the European Workshop on "Quantum Systems in Chemistry and Physics" held in Jesus College, Oxford, in April, 1997, were published in the series "Advances in Quantum Chemistry" (volumes 31 and 32). The number of contributions received necessitated publication of two volumes, which appeared in late 1998. ISBN 0-12-034831-4 ISBN 0-12-034833-0
